These last few weeks I've spotted a lot of movement around the Wayfarer's Arcade spaces.

First, a gallery with local artwork of Sefton Artists supporting Queenscourt Hospice. It's our understanding that due to renting costs this space is not profitable and won't be reappearing in Wayfarers– favouring Formby instead. This gallery will be open until the 30th of august.

Next to the above-mentioned gallery we find what was Wayfarer's Contemporary Art Fair exhibition, a ticketed event which took place around mid July. The setup remains, but I've not seen it open since. Will this space become a permanent installation? The space is right for it, and if there's something of interest displayed therein a fee might be justifiable. We do celebrate the bravery of those who worked on opening this exhibit for a couple of days and charged admission, all while situated right in front of the Atkinson, which is free and housing a rather powerful fine art exhibit of the female artists in their collection.
